CAS Thanks
I was going thru my spray mists to see which
ones worked and somehow this card happened.
I sprayed 3 colors of Memories Mists, stamped a floral image
(by Prairie Rubber Stamps) 3 times, added some
corresponding colors with Copic markers and
some small bling stickers by Momenta.
Topped it off with a verse by Inky Antics
for a OLC!
I am entering this into the current challenges over at:
ATCAS "Off The Edge"
Casual Friday "3 Thirds"
LIM "One Layer Thank You"

A dear friend passed away and I needed a quick sympathy card
so this was born.
The images by Inky Antics "Shining Lantern" set
Spellbinders "Petite Ovals"
Copic airbrushing and Distress Inks (sponged)
gold Krylon leafing pen
with papers and gems from my stash
along with a corner rounder punch
Truly a 5 minute card!

Swap Card
My card today is for a swap I joined over on
Midwest Stampers Yahoo group.
We had to do cards with a fall/harvest theme-do
you think this fits the bill?
I ran my brayer over some white glossy that I had inked with a K-pad
"Desert Heat"and when that dried I stamped the Peddler's Pack image with
Versamark and embossed with detail black powder.
Then I trimmed and layered more black onto an orange base.
I brayered more glossy and punched a large leaf from that
and stamped the verse (by Inky Antics), popped it up and tied
some natural hemp fibers around the stem.
Pretty simple yes? But pretty I think.
Thanks for looking!

Faux Embossing Folder
This card was done using an embossing folder I made with punches and cardboard.
I punched flower shapes from a piece of cardboard and adhered the shapes on a second piece so they would mesh.
Then I ran it all thru my Cuttlebug.
I masked the flowers and sponged inks around them but the scan is too light for
a good view. So I rescanned at a darker color so you can better see the embossing.
Can you imagine the possibilities with this?
I punched 3 flower shapes in a row and like it
better than having a completely floral covered folder.
My embossing isn't very good as one of my g-kids managed to drop a bead into my Cuttlebug.
I tore it apart but AFTER my card was done.
Grandkids! You gotta love 'em!!
Below is a darker scan and below that is my homemade template.
