I guess I did it again....thinking the deadline for the CFC

was on Friday.  I know I am late, but since I have made

a card for this particular challenge I will post it anyway.

and here is my tardy submission:

The challenge was to make something

with red/white & blue colors.

I didn't want to make a 4th of July card as so many were doing.

I used stamps by 

Marks Finest Papers

and

Paper Inspirations,

some homemade bakers twine,

shell confetti and starfish from my stash.

I am playing again over at

My card is for the current 

"Wallpaper Challenge"

where you stamp your own backgrounds.

I used a smear stamp by Paper Inspirations for color

and overstamped that with a row of dancers by 

Judi-Kins.

The large dancer that is fussy cut is by 

A Stamp In The Hand

and the verse is by angi-b & co

Inks by Memento and paper by Papertrey.

Chalk Chaos Technique

This is a good technique for subtle shading.

Sponge 2 or 3 chalk colors over white glossy paper and mist with rubbing

alcohol, letting colors run a bit.

Then swipe a metallic inkpad over that and mist again with alcohol, letting colors run.

Seal with fixative and stamp over it.

I used images by Paper Inspirations, CTMH & Penny Black.

*Remember that it might not look very promising before

you overstamp!*
