Fabulousness

This week over at
the challenge is on for a
one layer card with geometric shapes.
I inked the shape stamp by MFT
with a Kpad "Desert Heat"
As that pad is a dye ink I first inked the stamp with my
Versamark pad and then the dye pad so I could
heat emboss (thus did not have to dig for
a pigment pad).
The word stamps (by Technique Tuesday)
were stamped the same way.
I added a few gems to perk it up a bit.
Very simple, very OLC and (I hope)
very adequate white space?
Check out all the wonderful designs

Iridescent Glimmer Card

This is one of those cards that look awesome IRL, but
not-so-great scanned.
I will describe how I did this and you can imagine
just how magnificent it is ok?

I stamped a crackle background stamp by Red Castle
with white pigment ink and heat set it.
Then I dampened a sponge and dabbed into 2 colors
of dye inks and rubbed it over the glossy cardstock
till blended and rubbed more with a paper towel
to buff it well.

Then I stamped the floral image by
Technique Tuesday with dye ink.

It gives a glow of iridescent glimmer
to the background that doesn't scan so well.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Sponged Spots

The background for this card is nothing more than
pouncing cotton balls dipped in inkpads
here and there.
Then I stamped the flowers (by Technique Tuesday)
and added the verse and some flowers by Prima.
I think the verse is by Great Impressions.....
I'm too lazy to go run that stamp down to make sure...

Pierced Paper Art

Simple as it gets yes?
This card uses an image by Technique Tuesday.
I stamped the image and then pierced a flourish as a stand-in for a stem
before adding a ribbon.
Hope it cheers up my neighbor who is undergoing a long regimen of chemo right now.
