SSS Die Crazy

This monochromatic card was made

for a swap using stencils but I realized I had also

used a die so that makes it eligible for the

Simons Wednesday Challenge

"Die Crazy"

I airbrushed Copic YR24 over a stencil by

memorybox 

"Texture Brilliant"

on some cream stock

and cut a die by poppystamps 

"Tilda Swirl"

and popped it with foam tape.

The verse by Stampin' Up! was 

used as it fit the space just right.

Snow Day!

I made this simple CAS card in under 5 minutes (not counting drying time)!

I stamped the scene (by memory box) and used a stencil by

Simon Says Stamp "Falling Snow"

Actually there is a "ice effect" with this card since I had no white embossing paste

so had to improvise....

I mixed some white Copic ink with some translucent embossing paste to get

the white color.  Alas the Copic seems to granulate when mixed but it held together

good enough for this I think, but it was a bit grainy in the end.

Come FLY With Me!

Time for another sketch over at

   

This one uses the sketch below:

and my version is like this:

I used a die by Memory Box

"Large Circle Burst"

as my frame.

I then stamped the image (unknown)

on the waste circle portion and colored with

Copic markers.

I stuck a panel of shimmer sheetz behind the

cutout frame so it would show

through all the smaller circle holes.

I like the effect it gives and love how

quick it was to make!

The verse stamp is by

Marks Finest Papers.

CAS(E) This Sketch!!

This card was made for the current CAS(E) This Sketch! challenge.

I used an embossing folder by Tim Holtz

"Winter Berries"

colored with Copic markers

(bow was airbrushed with Copics

and no matter what color you see, it does match the papers!!)

I stamped image (memory box) twice and cut the bucket portion out

and popped it up over the flowers.

Stamped the verse by savvystamps with

Tuxedo Black by Memento.

Rounded corners with my

Creative Memories punch.

Ta Da!  Done!!

I Think I Shall Never See....

A Thing As Pretty As A Tree.

When I saw this lovely die by Memory Box

I HAD to have it!!

I cut it twice and layered onto white, black and 

shimmery grey paper.  Done!

Well, I did stamp the verse by Annette Watkins

in Memento Tuxedo Black.

So what do you think?  Too simple

or just enough??
