LIM284 "Take Time"

This week's challenge over at
is a one layer card with a "time" theme.
OLCs are so not my faves but I try.
I wanted to use something other than
clocks as it seems most think of these
with this sort of challenge.
So I went with a stencil by
memorybox "Texture Shine"
I masked off some to keep that desired
white space and sponged Distress inks
"Mustard Seed" and "Spiced Marmalade".
The verse stamp is by MFP and those
tiny speckles are a stamp by Judith
(to hide a smudge of course).
Be sure to check out

to see all the nifty ideas there!

CTS#27

Playing again at CAS(E) this sketch!  Here is the
sketch I am going for:

I stamped the bird (MFP) on the
tree (Judith) and then stamped the
verse (MFP) and added a die cut
of a bird (die by Die-versions).

As CAS as it gets!!

And here is a photo of a hillside in our cattle pasture
covered with Pasque (May) flowers which are our state flower
here in South Dakota.
A bit hard to see the diminutive flowers peeking out from
beneath a canopy of last year's grass but hope you can
visualize an entire hillside blanketed by them!

Thanks for stopping and
Happy Mothers Day to all you Moms out there!

Feel Better

Today my card is for the layout challenge over at

CAS(E) this Sketch

CTS#23

and here is my take on it:

I followed the layout pretty close as you can see, but
I "cheated" a little bit.....

I cut paper into strips and over-stamped the verse.
But it skipped between the paper so I used my
trusty fine line Copic marker to fill in missing spots.

(Reason I did all that was because none of my
one-liner stamps fit on a strip...fit good
enough that I didn't mess it up trying anyhow)

The verse is by Stamps By Judith
and floral die is by Magnolia

Thanks for stopping!

Hokey Pokey Card

This quick and easy card is from my "stash".
I guess I am still not interested in
creating so soon after my brother passed away.

I stamped the verse on a paper scrap and ripped
around the words.  Then I set that scrap
in the center and sponged inks around the rest.
I stamped the dancers and removed the mask and stamped
the verse.

All stamps are by Stamps By Judith
Thanks for looking.
