Visual Artistry

I masked with low-tack tape (still tore my paper a bit) and smudged PanPastels, then stamped with Memento and sprayed fixative. Added color to butterflies with Spectrum Aquas.
One layer cards are always a challenge for me, wonder why that is?

Technique: Galaxy Backgrounds

I began blending distress inks with a TH blending tool in a circular motion, then edged with black. I spritzed some water and flicked some Luna Lights inks on for stars.
I think the white spots emulate the galaxy "look" and add lots of depth to the finished work. I added a computer generated saying and some silver fibers behind to stand in for moon rings.....not sure I like it but it's there now.
Using a different combo of ink colors will generate a whole different look!

Rainbow Sunshine

I sponged Distress inks on white glossy, inked over some stencils and layered the black diecut (by Tailored Expressions), then I cut the word twice (black & white) offset it and popped it up.
I am hoping the colors mimic a rainbow and the center circle a sun. I missed last week as I had a houseful of grandkids underfoot.....
