Sweet Pea Stamps Blog Hop!!


This lovely image by 
Rebecca Sinz "Rose" 
may be found over at 

I colored with Copic markers, trimmed
and rounded corners before mounting
on a diecut by SB called
"Fleur De Lis"

I diecut the pink word (by Papertrey Ink)
and used rub-ons for the rest.
Added a small ribbon rose to top it off.
The ribbon and embossed paper are from my stash.

Annual Sweet Pea Christmas Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Sweet Pea Stamps annual Christmas Blog Hop!!



Each year the Sweet Pea Stamps design team loves to create a hop for Lynette, owner of Sweet Pea Stamps as our gift to her for Christmas. We are all in awe of the lovely stamps she offers and want to show our appreciation for her kindness and generosity.

Below is my rendition of the beautiful "Face #1" by Karen Middleton.


 This SP artist makes the most lovely stamps!  I used Cryogen papers, Provo emb folder,
punches, Copic and Distress markers and set some punched snowflakes on the 
paper before airbrushing color for a subtle background.
I may have overdone the "picket fence" highlights?
So..... 
What would a blog hop be without some candy? Only one lucky person will win these gorgeous rubber stamps. Just leave comments along the way - each time you do you will earn another chance at winning!  The more comments you leave, the more chances you receive!

*TIP*
by first inking your stamp with Versamark and then with 
dye ink you will be able to toss embossing powder on and heat
without having to use pigment ink for this step!

Tuxedo black dye ink by Memento

White pen by Inkssentials

I did the background by smearing white gesso over red cardstock and then smearing green-dyed

gesso over that after it dried.  This allows all 3 colors to be visible.
