Fiber Flower Technique!

Another Challenge and this time it's 

The challenge is to make something

with both chevrons and flowers.

Below is my production:

I confess that I didn't have a chevron stamp or die BUT I did

have a zig-zag punch by EK that resembles chevrons so I used it.
Verse is by Serendipity Stamps.

The fiber flower was made from some hemp and my

trusty hot glue gun.  I found the tut at the following link:

It's not perfect, but I like how it turned out.

Simple Thanks

I needed a thank you card so threw this together last night.  The corners are by Memory Box and flower by Magnolia.  The saying verse is by Serendipity Stamps and the label die is by My Favorite Things.  A glitter brad and fuzzy rickrack topped it off.

Bet it took less than 5 minutes!  Hopefully it doesn't look like that....

Reverse Resist Chalk *Technique*

This card is not as simple as you think.

A lot went into the background and

if you really want to know how......here it is:

First I spread chalks around on my dark paper with cotton balls and then worked it into the paper.

I then inked the solid image (by Serendipity Stamps) with versamark ink and stamped repeatedly.

*this stamp is a 2-step stamp with one image that is solid

and another that is not*

Finally I went back and overstamped the detailed image with

Brilliance "Moonlight White" just a little bit off center to

get the shadow effect.

IRL this just glows with color!

Mystery Stamp in Velvet

This is a card I did using velvet and a stamp I am unsure of...I think it is by Serendipity Stamps (does anybody know for sure?).  It seems I forgot to mark this one down.
No ink involved here, just an iron and velvet for some cool results.
