Well I had to make something using ONLY the word stamp, so what else could I do?
I ran the top layer thru my Cuttlebug with the "Number Collage" embossing folder and then swiped a green dye ink pad over the top to define the embossing.  Then I used a Spellbinders die set "Classic Frames" to stamp the words on,  They are by Xpreshons by the way.
Simple but eye-catching, yes?

Xpreshons Elephant

Another simple card today.  This uses an image by Xpreshons and a metal specialty brad from my stash.
The rest is simple layering and simple Copic coloring.

I have GOT to get the hang of blending with those Copics soon I hope?

Xpreshons Build-A-Flower

A Spellbinders Frameability, some Prima flowers and a "Build-A-Flower" stamp set by Xpreshons stamps were all that was needed to put together this card.
I am toying with going to a larger size card as those nifty dies by Spellbinder are just a little too big for my regular size cards....what do you think?  Would a 6 by 6" card work better?  There would be more room for more "stuff" for sure.....

Nice Doggy

Here comes another  Xpreshons by Paper Hollow  image!  I stamped the dog image on some thin cork & threaded a snippet of red fiber for his collar, layered with black, added a shrinky dink doggy and some background paper.
It could almost serve as a masculine card I think.....

Fishy Fishy

This nifty negative fish block image by  Xpreshons by Paper Hollow  made for a quick card.  I inked it with a K-Pad and stamped here and there on white paper, layered on blue base.  Then I cut the fish out of the block for the main image and layered him onto some Nesties.
Took me longer to explain than it was to do it!

Here comes the Bride

This is a super simple card.  I ran the cream panel thru the Cuttlebug, swiped a tan ink over the embossing, stamped the verse by Xpreshons in the smooth part.  Then I punched 2 small holes, set 2 eyelets and ran a clear ribbon thru them and attached the heart charm to hang before fixing the ribbon ends in back.
The scan doesn't show the elegant effect of the sheer ribbon with charm dangling....but I can see it.

Crooked Cuttlebug

I highlighted this cute cuttlebugged background and layered onto white.  That is when it all changed on me.  I accidently cut the blue layer a tad crooked.  Short of tossing it I decided to cut them all a little off.  I am kind of happy the way this mistake turned out actually.   The card looks pretty cool IRL

Paper Hollow Piano

This Xpreshons by Paper Hollow card gets its' sense of depth from overlapping and overlaying.
I began by stamping my central image (the piano) in black onto some acrylic.  I then stamped various chalk ink pads over another piece of white cardstock, using the acrylic as a guide, to keep the center as open as possible.  I stamped the circles and the saying on those shapes, sometimes without reinking...again keeping the center more open.
Then I stamped those smaller stamps on the acrylic in black, layered everything and affixed the acrylic with small brads.
IRL this gives marvelous dimension and depth to a flat card.

Xpreshons Express

This was a totally FUN card to do!  It began with nothing more than the face stamp from Xpreshons by Paper Hollow.
I punched circles from different colors of cardstock and stamped a face on each of them.  I glued different yarns and fibers for the hair & layered them on some floral paper, stamped a sentiment (also by Xpreshons) and added a flower...done!!

Xpreshons Snowman Christmas

I stamped this cute Xpreshons by Paper Hollow image with a snowman and trees on dusty blue paper, colored him in and tore some white paper to simulate snow.  A few snowflakes and a cool beaded piece of bling to balance it out.
There are times when tearing paper rather than cutting it makes all the difference doesn't it.

Xpreshons Something's Fishy

I started this card with the bubble paper and it just grew from there.  By layering the stamped  Xpreshons by Paper Hollow  fish over different circles I tried to keep it all together with the background paper.
Sometimes it's hard to make a card using one certain stamp and no other, but this time it worked out well I think.
What do you think?

Express Yourself

What to do with this saying from Xpreshons by Paper Hollow?  I paired it with their "bubble" image and stamped both several times in different inks on some glossy cardstock until I had a "collage" effect.
A few swipes with my trusty brayer and I like it.  Do you?

Xpreshons Drippy Goo

All stamps are by Xpreshons/The Paper Hollow.  I stamped the snowflake image several times, added a punched snowflake and the verse and then layered a scrap of white that was punched by Martha Stewart's Drippy Goo punch along the top to mimic snow.
Well, it could be snow that was melting, couldn't it?  I can see all sorts of possibilities with this punch can you?

Xpreshons Snowflake

At first I had no idea what to do with this Xpreshons snowflake image.  I had to come up with something using ONLY that image.....What to do?
I pulled out my trusty Cuttlebug and ran a pc of blue cardstock thru with the snow embossing folder after stamping the snwoflake here and there in various inks, trimmed and layered, stuck a large white snowflake diecut with another smaller blue one on top of it all with a glittery white brad and was finished.
So, what do you think?  I think snow is pretty....as long as it remains on a card and not in my yard.....!!

Xpreshons-Ribbon Lacing

This is a quick yet dramatic card made with Xpreshons by Paper Hollow stamps.
I used their dots background with various inks and overstamped the verse (love how you can manipulate those clear stamps of theirs!)  I trimmed that panel and layered on black.  Then I punched a strip of brown with an edger punch and laced ribbon thru the slits and layered that onto the black also.  Then the whole thing onto brown to finish it off.
I like how the lacing offsets the bubbles.....

Xpreshons Rose

The lovely rose image by  Xpreshons by Paper Hollow  was perfect for this technique.
I ran the green panel thru the Cuttlebug and swiped a darker green ink over the raised portions, then I used various sized hole punches along the embossed design for drama.  I stamped the rose on vellum and colored the back before attaching it to my green panel with a piece of sheer ribbon.
I think the tendrils of the rose go with the flourishes on the embossed panel for a cool look....

Express Yourself

This card was sort of a personal challenge to myself to see if I could make something with only one saying stamp.  This is the result.

I began with a grey base.  I ran some grey in the same color thru the Cuttlebug and swiped black ink across the raised portions, layered this onto a black panel & then the grey base.  I stamped the verse in black and embossed in black on a lighter tone of grey, layered that onto more black and added a black flourish (also cut with the CB).
You can see all the nifty images at Expreshons by clicking HERE
It sounds dreary with all that grey and black, but it came out looking kinda cool I think.
What do YOU think?

Xpreshons Wedding

This card uses a delightful stamp by Xpreshons by Paper Hollow stamped in white onto vellum and colored from behind.  I layered this over a panel ran thru the Cuttlebug for a textured look.  A metal frame in just exactly the "right" color and it is good-to-go!

Frame Card

This is a quick and easy technique from the pages of Technique Junkie Newsletter so I can't tell you how I did it, sorry. You will just have to go and subscribe to get your technique "fix".

I can tell you that I used a cute little bear image by Xpreshons by Paper Hollow though. A little illusion stamping and I ended up with what looks like an image with a frame around it. Aha! How did I do that frame you ask? Can't tell you, but it was easy.

Illusion Stamping

This card just looks layered, but it's not. Using masks and inks I created an illusion for you. You will find the technique on the Junkie site. I had fun doing this and it turned out pretty good I think, first attempt!

Stamps are all by Xpreshons by Paper Hollow
