I colored her with Distress markers
(love how blendable these are!!)
I diecut a wreath by memory box

around just one corner of the image
for some added POP.

Tiny gems were added and the background paper was embossed
with "Forest Branches" by Provo Craft.

Sweet Pea Blog Candy!!

Sweet Pea Stamps has a blog candy contest going on today until SUNDAY!!   Here's a link to their blog.   You have 3 days to sign up for it and they will pick winners, so click this link and win some blog candy from them:

A Round Koi!

This card was inspired....of all things!...
by a seed corn advertisement!!
The background paper is from the
junk mail received.  I thought it
was pretty so kept it.
Am I the only one who does these things?

This pretty image by
was stamped onto vellum and colored on the back side with
Copic markers.
I used some dies by SB to cut a white mat behind
the image and then more dies to cut
a scallop frame which I made
to fit slightly OVER the edge of the image to hide
my adhesive.  I did this by placing 2 dies
together so it cut one as a frame!

I swiped some Versamark over and embossed
with clear EP after airbrushing
the frame to match my papers.
I added some gel stickers by
EK Success for bling, but
kept it pretty simple so the
paper shows.
Hope you like it!

Tim Holtz Tinned

This CAS card uses some aluminum foil tape that I ran thru my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder by Tim Holtz. I layered this over a panel embossed with "Spots & Dots".

I used only a saying by Sweet Pea Stamps, no other stamps.

I colored some generic pearls with my silver leafing pen and they turned out swell!

This gorgeous image is done by Sweet Pea Stamps
I've had this colored for some time but couldn't
decide what to do with it when I spied this
pretty paper on a CD case I was
"repurposing" for stamp storage.
A small rub-on verse was all
that I added. Hope you like it!

Annual Sweet Pea Christmas Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Sweet Pea Stamps annual Christmas Blog Hop!!

Each year the Sweet Pea Stamps design team loves to create a hop for Lynette, owner of Sweet Pea Stamps as our gift to her for Christmas. We are all in awe of the lovely stamps she offers and want to show our appreciation for her kindness and generosity.

Below is my rendition of the beautiful "Face #1" by Karen Middleton.

This SP artist makes the most lovely stamps!  I used Cryogen papers, Provo emb folder,
punches, Copic and Distress markers and set some punched snowflakes on the
paper before airbrushing color for a subtle background.
I may have overdone the "picket fence" highlights?
So.....
What would a blog hop be without some candy? Only one lucky person will win these gorgeous rubber stamps. Just leave comments along the way - each time you do you will earn another chance at winning!  The more comments you leave, the more chances you receive!

This year the hop stops are:
Connie     <you are here!!

Thank you for stopping by and good luck!

Distressed Dragon?

This adorable seahorse image is by
Jennifer Nilsson for

and is titled "Sea Dragon"

I began with a distressed
water background on which I stamped the dragon.
Colored him in with Copic markers, added Stickles on his wings?
and put some small bubble gems for air bubbles.
"Macarena Corner" die by memory box and
layers cut with SB "Matting Basics" dies.
