Pop Up Punch

This rather simple card showcases a Martha Stewart punch rather than a stamp line.  I did use all Elemental Doodles images which you can find HERE
In the lower right corner I punch the flower and punched it 2 more times on different colored paper which I centered so all 3 layers could be lifted together at the petals.  It is very hard to see with my scan but you will hopefully get the idea and believe me when I say it is a neat effect IRL.
I added tiny pearls to the center of the top-most flower.

ED Mystic Fairy

Another lovely Elemental Doodles image.  I stamped the fairy in the center first, then I put post it notes to divide into quarters.  Oh yes I also masked her as well.  I removed one note at a time and stamped small images and sponged before moving on.
Then I ran a marker along the center both ways to define my spaces.  A quick ticket corner punch and tiny pearls added and it was finished.

Make A Difference

This lovely lady is an image by Elemental  Doodles.  Sorry for the lopsided scan...still working on getting my scanner working.
I stamped the face on some designer paper and added some pearls....very quick card.
I hope you like it.

Elemental Doodles Torn Paper Goose

I was trying to come up with a card using no scissors, but couldn't figure how to get that goose torn out and still look good on the torn paper water background.
I tore several different blue papers and layered them to look like the goose was swimming on water.  Popped up that goose by Elemental Doodles and stamped an ED verse in the bottom corner and thought it was complete.  Then I added the tiny heart around his neck.....

Elemental Doodles Cheery Cherry Christmas

Sometimes simple is elegant.  This is certainly simple so it has to be elegant yes?
I began with  Elemental Doodles "First Fruits" ED001 plate.
I stamped the cherries 3 times on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  Then I punched each out with a square punch, a larger punch of black and an even larger punch of red and layered them all on a strip of white.  This was layered onto the red base card and black decorative ribbon by Wright's "Woven Scroll" was attached along the edges of the white.
I thought about stamping a sentiment but thought better of it.....Merry Christmas!

Elemental Doodles Easel Card

This Easel card uses all Elemental Doodles images

Cut one pc of cardstock to the following dimensions:
4" by 8.5"
and another pc to:
4" by 4.5"
Score and fold the long pc in half and then score and fold one end in half.
The smaller pc will be the front and may be decorated as you like.  This will be attached to the long pc. at the top end (2 1/8" by 4")
Below is a side view of the finished card so you can see how the pcs. go together and how it works:

The base front (where my sentiment is) will need an embellishment or brad etc to hold the rest of it upright.  That can be 1 or 2 inches from the bottom edge-where it is needed to hold the card in the chosen position when open.
I hope my directions are clear enough for you to give this a try.  It really is much simpler than it sounds!

Elemental Doodles Ornament

This is the front of an ornament made from a CD.  I stamped all images by Elemental Doodles on 2 circles I made by tracing an old CD.  I attached one paper and then glued 2" pcs of ribbon in an X shape around that side.  See ribbon pcs below:

Hard to see details, sorry.  They should look kind of like the cancer ribbons do.  When you have ribbon all around, cut a longer pc and loop it and glue at top center for your hanger.  Here is how it should look at this point:

Then glue on other side to finish.  See below for back side:

The ribbon around the outer part adds so much to the ornament and is a good way to use up your ribbon scraps.

Elemental Doodles Notecard

This card sort of "evolved" on its own.  I stamped and masked and stamped more until I liked all the images where they were.  Then I covered half and sponged color and covered the other half to repeat with another color.  Cut a slit in the envelope to stick in the notes and layered everything together.

Elemental Doodles Flower Garden

A rapture of blues!  I trimmed and layered various blue cardstock together & stamped the ED vine along one side, added an ED flower to the vine as well as a tiny butterfly.  I stamped the butterfly again on vellum, colored and cut it out and layered over the other one so the wings lifted up to give an appearance of fluttering.  Added a pretty pc of "card candy" to balance it out and called it good.
Sometimes less is more I think..............

Elemental Doodles Flowery Friends

A little bit of layering and one can make a card out of a small image yes?  I stamped the ED vine and layered and layered it then the verses with itty-bitty brads and a Prima flower to top it all off.
I am getting back into the saddle again and finding that stamping is a great! stress reliever.....

Elemental Doodles Coffee Time

Another super simple card from the Queen of Simple!  I stamped the ED image on cream cardstock in brown dye ink and layered it several times, cut strips of brown papers for accents and stuck them behind focal image.
TaDa!  It was done!

Elemental Doodles Distressing

This card uses a quick 'n easy way to distress without a mess.
I swiped an old toothbrush across a white Stazon pad and then swiped it across my cardstock.
Voila!  Instant distress!  I trimmed the distress into a sign of sorts.
All images are by Elemental Doodles from their "Garden Of Friends" plate.

Elemental Doodles October Challenge

This is my October Challenge for Elemental Doodles  We had to make something with the colors of red, black and white.
I used images from ED plate #011 "Just A Note" along with some large glitzy brads from Oriental Trading.
I was going to add a real feather but thought it would be too much.  Sometimes less is more.
Basically stamping and layering is what this card is all about.  I like how the feather image is just the right size and shape to be used in many different ways.
Now if I could only get my scanner to stop scanning things crooked......

Framed Coffee

This image by Elemental Doodles is set off perfectly by the glitzy frame isn't it?

I layered a burgundy panel over the grey base and another grey panel run thru the Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" folder over that.  I stamped the image in burgundy ink onto a scrap of white and trimmed to fit the frame then tied small tags stamped with words from the same ED plate onto the frame before adhering it all on the card.

It's hard to see in my scan, but the frame has gorgeous burgundy jewels scattered around.

Elemental Doodles Medallion

This square card is pretty simple.  I stamped small
Elemental Doodles  images (Coffee Cafe Set) all over white cardstock first, then I cut a Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Pendant Medallion from designer paper (DCWV) with my Cuttlebug and popped it, stamping another ED image on top.  Actually I cut 2 of the medallion, one in white also, and reversed portions of one.  I think the little scroll stamp is an unknown unmounted of mine....

Wake Up!

MMMmmm!  Can you smell the coffee??

This quick card uses all  Elemental Doodles  images.  I began with a tan base and cut a designer panel slightly smaller and trimmed it at a slant before adhering.  Check out those cool clock hands!  They are small spoons you will find in the "Coffee Cafe" plate by ED.  Clockface is a diecut with some mulberry paper behind.  I did use some coffee scented ink by Ranger though....Java Fizz.

Jolt of Java

This card is totally Elemental Doodles!  I took various images from their cool "Coffee Cafe" plate and with some black for my base cut and layered some coffee lookin' papers by DCWV.  A quick trip thru my Cuttlebug for the Java shape and a swipe with a black ink pad and it all came together.

I hope you like this quick 'n easy card as much as I do!

Java

Here comes another card with Elemental Doodles stamps!

I stamped the cup and masked it, then sponged inks all over and stamped smaller images (all by Elemental Doodles Coffee Cafe plate). Then I cut a square of cardstock and halved it to make a pair of triangles. I then cut off the top of these to make my "photo corners" which I sponged and added small jewels before placing them in a corner.

The corners give it a "special" focus I think and are very easy to do. You can make them any size by altering your square to begin with.

Coffee Break!

Here is another Elemental Doodles card made with that cool Spellbinders Frameabilities "Polka Dot Frame" and those even cooler Elemental Doodles images from their Coffee Cafe plate.

*TIP: If you want deeper embossing with your dies just mist the paper with water before running through your machine after cutting the die.

I stamped the different images (all from the same plate) in various shades of browns and swiped the frame's embossed dots with white ink to add contrast before assembling it all together.

You can check out all those images by Elemental Doodles here

Elemental Doodles August Challenge

Did I mention that I am now on the design team for Elemental Doodles? Yay! One of the first things I did with those lovely stamps is this challenge card.
The challenge was to use a solid cardstock, 2 different patterned papers, a button & a flower. I had to push myself for this because we all know I don't use background papers much & buttons even less.
I used their Coffee Cafe set of images (masking off parts of some images), Nestabilties Labels, Making Memory papers, Copics & Gelly Roll's clear glitter pen.
I managed to nestle the tiny blue button in the center of the flower and I finally figured out how to emboss with my Cuttlebug!
Be sure to check out Elemental Doodles for some great stamps......
