Chalking on Chalk

On a softly chalked background the images glow with brighter chalks.

I applied chalk with sponges by swiping across the paper first.
Then I inked the images and embossed them.
Then I colored the images with more chalk and my blender pen.

The chalk-on-chalk makes the images pop!

Chalks are about my favorite for coloring because the colors are so subtle and blendable, but I've NEVER done a fabulous coloring job like you've done here.

The way you write about how you do cards suggests you don't have any idea how fabulously talented you are. You probably think ANYONE could have done as good a coloring job as you did on this card. Either that or you're way more humble than I would be if I were this talented.
