Welcome to the MFP March Blog Hop! This month, we are releasing 4 NEW SETS!
Our New Sets are: Just Dandy, African Veldt, Grandma's Boudoir, and Fish You Were Here. For your convenience, all 4 stamp sets are available for purchase TODAY!
I have 2 samples for you today.
The first one (brown base) uses glossy paper with images stamped with
versamark and embossed with black ep. Then I brayered pigment
ink pads over and wiped the images off. I tried adding a few swipes with an old toothbrush loaded with green pigment ink for a grassy effect...not sure if I like how it turned out.
I added a tropical leaf brad by Oriental Trading and layered onto some
dp by DCWV "Safari Chic". I embossed another brown paper with a Sizzix folder and swiped brown ink over and layered that beneath. This card is below:
My second sample (red base) uses plain white paper with
dye ink pads (Blending Blox) brayered over and images
were overstamped with Tuxedo black dye by Memento.
This panel was layered onto black and then on to the red base.
Black pearls by Kaiser Craft were added.
This card is below:
Please comment and let me know which you like better....is it brown or is it red??
Thanks for stopping!
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY!

Fabulous, Connie! Not sure which I like better since they are both so pretty. Love these silhouettes.
Great work with these wonderful African silhouettes, Connie!! The first card is my favorite because of the fun layout with the animal print paper!
Both cards are very nice! Can't choose, as they both have a different feel!
Both cards are lovely, but I am more biased to first one.
I think they are both great, they each have their own uniqueness too them!
thanks for sharing:)

Love the brayered ink background! Just perfect for the giraffe. You really made it feel like a safari.

Beautiful color behind the darker silhouette, really evokes the African scenery.
Both cards are great but I like the second one slightly better.

I vote for RED of course!
#1 is such a cool layout!
This is my favorite stamp set of this release (I am a huge fan of elephants). Your cards are lovely.
Both are so pretty, but I like the brown one best. I like the texture the embossing adds.
I love the scenes you created!
These cards are COOL!
