Then I ironed the EP off and smooshed inks over a crackle
background by Red Castle.
The little lizard is by Judi-Kins.
Isn't he adorable?
The sentiment is computer generated because I
just HAD to have that particular saying....
Thanks for looking,

Connie,
I love this effect. Please explain the process. I would much appreciate.

Your background colors are so unique and beautiful. I've done this technique and been shocked that it really does turn out just like it's supposed to, only mine looked like a kindergartner did it because I used background inks that were too loud and the spots of each were lined up like soldiers. Another trash can project, but at least I discovered the resist technique DOES work if some day I hit upon the right combination of inks for the background. "Hope springs eternal." :-)
So I chanced here today, because my Sodakstamping bookmark didn't look familiar, and there was your spectacular Leapin' Lizards card, which didn't look familiar either. i swooned over it, thought it the most beautiful background ever, and the resist technique just great, and the computer generated sentiment terrific inspiration for the many times I can't find an appropriate sentiment for my card. THEN I went to write a Comment, read the one that was there and thought how that person is JUST LIKE ME, and THEN I looked at the name and saw......that was me, and I am no better at backgrounds than I was 2 1/2 months ago! Oh damn it is sooooo awful to get old and not be able to remember seeing before a card as gorgeous as this lizard one. I am going to bookmark this page as "Connie", which is much easier than sodakstamping, which I don't even know how to pronounce.
so glad you're still here! :-)
