This background reminded me of water so of course I expanded on that theme.
The muted colors are nothing more than some alcohol inks applied with sponges sort of helter-skelter and overstamped with white bubbles.
I stamped the fishies on some glitter paper scraps that had been colored with the alcohol inks also and cut them out. I cut a piece of vellum on which I wrote the verse and adhered the fish over that.
Layered it all together and liked it so I quit right there.
