Pixie Dust 2

I made a second entry for this challenge as I
was told I did not leave enough
"white space"
I did almost the same except I masked off the
center and stenciled only that part.
Thus I hope it meets the LIM requirements.

Another challenge over at Less is More.

This one is to make a one layer card
with text as the main image.
I sponged Distress inks using a stencil
by memorybox
"Texture Wave"
then stamped the text by
Stamp A Mania and embossed it.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out
the LIM blog for many more ideas.

that cool SAM lizard, cutting it out and popping up with foam tape.

Southwest Cacti Window

This pretty stamp by Stamp A Mania had a brick backdrop
so I paired it with the TH brick ef.
Some fussy cutting and layering and IRL those cacti "pop"

Marvelous Mexican!

I stamped pottery (Stamp A Mania Mexican Pottery Set) several times
and popped different parts up for dimension, rounded 2 corners
and mounted a little skewed onto some pretty paper by basicgrey.

IMO this is a very eye-catching card with a CAS feel.
Thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment 'cuz
I LOVE THEM!!

Fantastic Fowl

I was playing with my new Papertrey Ink die and came up with this card.
I reversed the die to mimic the bird's tail feathers.
The stamp is by Stamp A Mania from
their new set
"Mexican Pottery"
I added some tiny gems and colored with my Copic markers.
It is layered onto a die cut by SB and popped a bit.
Sweet and simple?

Real Cowboys

I was happy to see the new challenge over at

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog
Simon Says Stamp which is
to make your own background paper.
I have been on a roll, making up a bunch of
wooden floor backgrounds
so of course I am using one of them.

I made the floor boards by lightly brushing dye inks
over paper, leaving lots of blotches.  Then I drew lines using a ruler for the
"boards" and added small dots for the "nails".
I think it looks pretty authentic, do you?

Stamps are by Stamp A Mania and stickers by
Jolee's and Colorbok
with a die by SB "Wonky Squares"

Now I wonder.....
"Do the spots on my lizard count
as polka dots?"

A SAM Christmas

I just realized I forgot to post my Christmas card for you
so here it is:

I swiped a white inkpad over a brick embossed paper for the background. Then die cut window over stamped tree with a bit of lace for curtains and filled window box with punched greenery. A ribbon to top it off.
All stamps are by Stamp A Mania.

Is It HOT or CHILE??

Our weather has been super HOT here lately so these chile stamps by
seemed just the ticket for a hot card!

I used some Memento inks, an embossing folder by Darice "Woodgrain"
and a tiny bow sticker by Martha Stewart.
Some foam tape to pop those chile peppers
and a die by Spellbinders for the oval frame.

Cutting the little peppers took the longest
with this quick card!!
Thanks for stopping by.

Feathered Courage

A CAS card using images by
STAMP A MANIA
from their "Potted Plants" set
with the verse by their
"Courage" set.

I stamped and embossed the big pot and popped it up.
I added the verse which was also
embossed and a Copic marker used to
add a black outline around the mat.

On impulse I added an earring I
made using feathers and assorted beads
for an embellishment.

HOT, HOT, HOT!

This card uses images from
STAMP A MANIA
The set is titled
"Chile Harvest"

I did a shaker card using the jar image and filled it with
small confettis.
The SAM peppers were stamped on the jar before filling.

I stamped several words from this SAM set
on the circles of the background paper
before using a southwest corner punch.

Thanks for stopping!

Faux Embossing TECHNIQUE

I call this
"Faux Embossing"

Simply cutting strips of same colored paper and
layering on your same color base gives you
a look of embossing without the stylus or the dies.

"Oohlala" stamp is by Stamp A Mania
and buttons are by "Dress It Up"
Edger punch by Martha Stewart
with a Viva Decor "dot" added.

Thanks for stopping by.

Where's The Horse??

When I first saw this wonderful western stamp by Stamp A Mania
I knew I was going to try making a "real" lariat
wrapped around that fence post.
A well-placed glue dot along with
my trusty craft knife and
I think it looks pretty authentic!
I added some felt flowers and tiny gems
to balance out the depth.
Thanks for stopping by!
I'd love it if you left a comment...I love reading each and every one.

Tin Foil Bird Cage

The challenge was to use tinfoil in any way on some artwork....
I wrapped tinfoil around some card stock and cut a cage with a Tim Holtz die.
I popped that over another Tim die of a bird and set it all on another
die by Spell Binders.

I lightly stamped some grass along the bottom of the panel and
added a light stamped fence.  Both stamps are by

A little bit of fiber tied around the tip of the cage
and it looked finished to me.

Stamp A Mania Spring!

I LOVE this floral image by Stamp A Mania!

I cut the SpellBinder die "Petite Ovals" so I could "hang"
a portion of the image over the edge.
I added a vine die by Cheery Lyn Designs and
a floral die by Magnolia along with
an embossing folder "Swiss Dots"
AND
a Martha Stewart border punch.

Ha!  I made this for a swap that called for
several different dies or die cuts.
Think I met the requirements?
I coupled all this with some dp by
DCWV and some teeny tiny gems by
MyMomenta
